Ask or add something
At the top of the dashboard, the field “Ask or add something” takes a whole sentence. Type what you want and the app answers or prepares the change.
- “Who picks up Noah on Friday?”
- “Add milk and eggs to the shopping list”
- “Move swimming to 5pm”
Nothing is saved until you confirm. The app shows what it understood first, and you tap to apply it, or leave it.
What is sent to the processor, and when, is described in the privacy policy.

- Needs your attention: Open items that wait for a parent. Overdue pocket money is shown first; tap it to open the Pocket Money tab

Au pairs see a focused view of their responsibilities and upcoming activities:

🧩 Your Own Dashboard
Everyone can arrange their own dashboard. Choose "Customize dashboard" at the top of the dashboard, drag the cards into your order and hide the ones you do not need. Only your dashboard changes; the other family members keep theirs. "Needs your attention" stays near the top.
Hiding a card switches nothing off: the feature stays where it was in the app. You can show hidden cards again or restore the default layout.

📢 Announcements — Broadcast What Matters
Important information shouldn't get buried in chat. Announcements let you broadcast updates to the whole family — and track who's actually read them.
High Priority
For urgent updates: schedule changes, allergies discovered, emergency instructions. Everyone gets an immediate push notification.
Example: "Max has a new peanut allergy — effective immediately"
Normal Priority
For everyday updates: upcoming events, rule changes, helpful reminders. Delivered normally, visible on dashboard.
Example: "Grandparents visiting next weekend — adjusted schedule"
Low Priority
For nice-to-know info: meal suggestions, activity ideas, general notes. No notification, visible when the app is opened.
Example: "New snack options in the pantry"
Scheduled Announcements
Write it now, send it later. Schedule announcements for specific dates and times — perfect for upcoming changes.
Example: Schedule Monday's routine change on Friday evening
Read Tracking & Acknowledgment
Never wonder if your au pair saw the message. Each announcement shows who's read it and when — so you know important information actually landed.
