Pickup instructions are now easier to find. On the page of an event, the card Pickup instructions is directly under the header. On the edit screen, there is a Pickup instructions row next to drop-off and pick-up. A single event with a drop-off or pick-up away from home can now have its own instructions, which belong to this event only. For a school or an activity, the instructions are shared by all its dates, as before, and the card now says so. Parents add and change the instructions; au pairs read them.
The Messages tab now has the card format of Tasks and Shopping. Each section is one card with a heading and a count. The header shows the date and whether anything is unread. The filters are always visible above the list; before, they only appeared once a filter was already on. The preview names who wrote the last message. When there are no messages yet, the card offers Open Family Chat.
When you create a task, and when a parent creates a shopping list, everyone you can assign is now in one row of pills under Assignee. Swipe the row sideways to see them all. Each person’s pill shows their photo, or their initials if there is no photo, and their name. Parents are blue and au pairs are violet. The pill you choose is filled with its color and gets a check mark. The pills keep their order when you tap one, and the More button is gone.
On iPhone, an event at home now needs a responsible person before you can create it, as it already did on Android. Until you choose someone, the form says: Please select who is responsible. Events away from home and events that already exist do not change.
When no meals are planned for today, Today’s meals on the dashboard now shows a card with the text No meals planned for today and with Plan the week; an au pair sees Add a meal. In Household, under Pets, Today’s pet care now says Nothing due today when no task is due. On iPhone, the card that lists your pets now has all four rounded corners.
On the More tab, Help & Guides and Settings now have their own section, App, below Features. In Profile & Account, the Birthday row now looks like the other rows, and the note under it is shorter: Your family sees the day and month. Member Since now shows a written month, for example 12 Oct 2026.
A parent who started a family and was later removed from it cannot start another family with the same account. The app now explains this instead of showing an error, and offers Join with an invitation or Use another account. An account whose deletion has begun cannot start or join a family; the app says so and asks you to use another account.
Dates on the card Since your last visit and in its list now have a written month, for example 12 Oct 2026, and the card goes away at once after Done. The new task form scrolls to Ask for confirmation when it appears. About 80 wrongly translated texts are corrected, most of them in Chinese. On Android, more screens now match the iPhone app, among them the task forms in dark mode and the birthday picker. This version also includes fixes and security improvements.
