Emergency and child info card

Type it once, print two papers: an A4 sheet for the fridge and a wallet card for your au pair’s bag — because the emergency tends to happen at the playground, not next to the fridge. The form opens with an invented example family; type over every field.

Edit the fields

Nothing you type is saved or sent: it stays in this tab and is gone when you close it. The printout is the only copy. One child per sheet and card — print again for the next child.

Street and number, floor, which door, door code, postcode and town.

A neighbour or friend who can be there in minutes.

The signs to watch for, then what to give and whom to call.

Print both gives you two pages: the A4 sheet for the fridge, and a page with two wallet cards to cut out and fold. Print at 100 % (actual size) so the card comes out bank-card size, 85.6 × 54 mm. Everything reads in black and white.

You have just typed a child profile

Allergies, medication, the doctor, the insurance details and who to call: that is what a child’s profile in AuPairSync keeps. It is on the au pair’s phone, and when the dose changes you edit it once instead of reprinting a sheet. Keep the printout anyway — paper works when a phone is flat.
